CUHK researchers found that music lessons strengthen verbal skills

Researchers of the Chinese University of Hong Kong found that children with consistent music training have better verbal memories. One reason is that the brain processes both verbal and musical tasks in the same brain region. The study was published in the journal Neuropsychology.
