HKU and CUHK Enter World Finals of International Collegiate Programming Contest
News: College Coders Converge on San Antonio for 30th Annual International “Battle of the Brains”

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) organizes International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) annually, which is the world’s most prestigious university competition in computing sciences and engineering. This year’s competition attracted more than 5,600 teams representing 1,733 universities from 84 countries on 6 continents participated in regional contests held last fall. The top 83 teams have qualified for positions at the World Finals championships. The finals will be held on April 9-13, 2006 in San Antonio, US.
Two student teams from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong have entered the world finals and will travel to San Antonio for the World Finals of the 2006 ACM-ICPC.
