This presentation discusses the development and potential for always-on intelligent agent applications that function as virtual assistants. Interacting in a conversational manner, these agents supply information immediately to students and faculty. Over time, the agents become incrementally “smarter” and more capable of providing better information.

iPeer is a new open source web application developed at the Faculty of Applied Science, UBC. iPeer allows instructors to easily develop and deliver peer evaluations to their students. Instructors can compile evaluation results by student or group.
