Welcome, this site is Steven Choy’s personal weblog. It serves as a place for him to record links and readings, jot ideas for research, and share his thoughts.

Steven is currently a university teacher in Hong Kong. Before entering the teaching field, he did research work for many years in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he also obtained a PhD degree. His teaching areas are mainly in computing and information technology. Courses that he has taught include computer programming, software engineering, computer networks, distributed systems, multimedia technology, and computer graphics. His main research areas are digital image processing and computing for education. Other research interests include software engineering, multimedia technology, distributed computing, and Internet computing.

Steven is also a father of two boys, husband of one wife, and creator and author of many websites under the domain stevenchoy.com.
