I looked for some refereed academic journals on educational technology. My selection criteria was open-access, peer-reviewed, currently active, and publishing articles in educational technology and related areas. After some work of searching and filtering, here lists what I got.

Brief description: It is a refereed journal publishing research and review articles in educational technology, instructional design, educational applications of computer technologies, educational telecommunications and related areas.

Topics may include, but are not limited to: learning theory and technology, cognition and technology, instructional design theory and application, online learning, computer applications in education, simulations and gaming, and other aspects of the use of technology in the learning process.

(3) Educational Technology & Society
Brief description: It is a quarterly journal that seeks academic articles on the issues affecting the developers of educational systems and educators who implement and manage such systems. The articles should discuss the perspectives of both communities and their relation to each other.
